What Brands of Marine Grade Awning Fabric Do You Recommend For A Vintage Trailer Awning?

A vintage trailer awning made from solution dyed, 100% Acrylic, 46" 0r 47" wide, striped, marine grade, awning fabric will be resistant to rain, stain, tears, mildew, rot, fade, and chemicals, plus provide UV protection and comfortable air flow through the breathable fabric. It will be easy to clean and fold for storage, without the fear of cracking along the fold lines, like vinyl. Sunbrella, Sattler, Dickson and Outdura, awning material is woven from 100 percent acrylic fibers, has a 9.25 weight and is just as beautiful and vibrant on both sides of the fabric, unlike most 54" outdoor fabrics which are screen printed, top treated, and intended for outdoor furniture upholstery. Sattler, Sunbrella, Dickson and Outdura are all high quality, color to the core, marine grade awning fabrics, specifically intended for awnings. I have used all of these brands over the years, to make vintage trailer awnings. Now, my inventory of fabric is Sunbrella Marine Grade Awning Fabric.

Sunbrella has color to the core of each fiber, for an expected 10 years before showing signs of fading. dfoster@bellsouth.net
